Herpes simplex virus (HSV) is a ubiquitous and troublesome skin condition. It is characterized by blistering sores that eventually burst and leave a painful, ulcerated base. There is no known cure and herpes often reoccurs throughout a person’s life. Although oral antiviral medications are generally well-tolerated and convenient, some patients prefer a more holistic, immune-supportive approach to treat and prevent flares. This course discusses naturopathic remedies for both the prevention and treatment of HSV.
