Course: Antioxidant Skincare: Not Every Antioxidant is Equal
Antioxidant Skincare: Not Every Antioxidant is Equal
Maria Mas, ND

The skin has its natural antioxidant system that helps to defend it from ultraviolet light exposure and oxidative stress. However, these natural defenses can be depleted quickly. One strategy to support the skin has been the use of antioxidants. This activity will discuss the variety of antioxidants that exist along with reviewing clinical studies on the use of topical antioxidants for protection against oxidative stressors such as UV light, blue light, and pollution.
