Dr. Adriana Cruz studied medicine and dermatology at the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. She completed a research fellowship at the University of Connecticut and worked for more than 12 years on syphilis-related research projects. Dr. Cruz has served as an advisor to the Colombian Ministry of Health, as a faculty member at CIDEIM, and currently serves on the directive board of the Colombian Dermatology Society (AsoColDerma). Dr. Cruz enjoys leading academic initiatives, organizing educational events, and participating in social responsibility activities. She is also passionate about the role of motivation, sustainable habits, positive thinking, and lifestyle behaviors in helping individuals manage chronic conditions, improve well-being, and become the best version of themselves.
La Dra. Adriana Cruz estudió Medicina y Dermatología en la Universidad del Valle, en Cali, Colombia. Realizó una estancia de investigación en la Universidad de Connecticut y trabajó durante más de 12 años en proyectos de investigación relacionados con la sífilis. La Dra. Cruz se ha desempeñado como asesora del Ministerio de Salud de Colombia, docente e investigadora en CIDEIM, y actualmente forma parte de la Junta Directiva de la Asociación Colombiana de Dermatología y Cirugía Dermatológica (AsoColDerma). La Dra. Cruz disfruta liderando iniciativas académicas, organizando eventos educativos y participando en actividades de responsabilidad social. Además, le apasiona el rol de la motivación, los hábitos saludables, el pensamiento positivo y los estilos de vida sostenibles como herramientas para ayudar a las personas a manejar condiciones crónicas, mejorar su bienestar y convertirse en la mejor versión de sí mismas.
