David Cotter, MD PhD
Biography
Dr. Cotter is a board-certified dermatologist practicing in his hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) with highest honors, he earned both his MD and PhD in Molecular Cell Biology and Physiology from Washington University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his dermatology residency at the University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Cotter is one half of the DermBros®, the founder of the Gentlemen of Dermatology Society, and serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UNLV School of Medicine, where he mentors medical students and resident physicians. His clinical expertise includes inflammatory skin diseases and skin cancer, and he conducts clinical trials in these areas at Las Vegas Dermatology. Outside of medicine, Dr. Cotter enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, fossil hunting, and exercising.
