Dr. Jocelyn Strand graduated from Bastyr University in 2005 with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Following her graduation, she established her practice in the Seattle area, working at Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, as well as in a gastrointestinal specialty clinic. She returned to Minnesota in 2008 with the vision of increasing the availability, affordability, and awareness of naturopathic medicine. With that vision in mind, she opened her private practice at Lake Superior Natural Medicine, where she specialized in GI system disorders, Lyme disease, and auto-immune conditions as a Primary Care Provider through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. In 2019, Dr. Strand became the Director of Clinical Education for Bio-Botanical Research, Inc., She enjoys sharing useful clinical information based on research and her own personal experience in the talks she gives at events around the world.

Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth is an imbalance in the gut microbiome that is connected to symptoms and disease conditions inside and outside of the gut. This webinar explores what causes SIBO, the diagnostic and clinical tests that can help establish a diagnosis, how it correlates to disease within the gut and to the skin, and treatment strategies that bridge pharmaceutical and natural approaches.

Dr. Ashely Dumont, Chair of LearnSkin's Diet and Herbs for Dermatology CME Series, interviews Dr. Jocelyn Strand to discuss the gut-skin access and botanicals related to the gut-skin access.
