Mimi Nguyen is an MD candidate at the University of California Davis. She graduated from the University of California Los Angeles in 2015 with a degree in Physiological Science. Mimi developed a passion for dermatology while serving as co-director for a student-run clinic serving her local Asian community in Sacramento, where she organized monthly specialty clinics, including women’s cancer screening, physical medicine and rehabilitation, psychiatry, and dermatology. She believes that education is the key to helping patients maintain healthy skin and lifestyle and hopes to continue to serve her community as a future physician, patient advocate, and educator.
