Dr. Jensen is dual board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. Prior to attending medical school at St Louis University, she completed a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts at Scripps and later attended the college's Post Baccalaureate Premedical Program. Her background in art provides a distinct aesthetic in her approach to patient skincare. Dr. Jensen began her career in academic medicine and later established her private practice, Regional Dermatology, located just south of St Louis. Dr. Jensen's office integrates all aspects of dermatology including: medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin care. Having recognized a shift in patients' desire for alternative options, she discovered Learnskin and is soon to complete its Integrative Dermatology Certification Program. This enriching program and its engaging, integrative community have further expanded her knowledge and broadened her treatment options. Learnskin enabled Dr. Jensen to redefine her practice in medicine and create an office that she would seek out, as a patient, herself.

This webinar will delve into the clinical aspects of skin barrier repair and redness recovery, emphasizing the role of plant-based skincare products. Attendees will explore how plant-derived ingredients support skin healing, reduce inflammation, and restore skin balance. Through an evidence-based approach, we will review key plant-based ingredients that aid in barrier recovery and mitigate redness. Participants will also learn how to integrate these products effectively into skincare routines, with a focus on providing solutions for sensitive and compromised skin.

In our recent webinar, Clinical Barrier and Redness Recovery Using Plant-Based Skin Care, Dr. Sarah Jensen and Julie Longyear shared valuable clinical insights into the healing power of nature. Focused on evidence-based strategies, the session explored how plant-derived skincare products support the repair of compromised skin, alleviate redness, and promote overall skin resilience.
