Dr. Sarah Millan is a dermatology chief resident at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She completed her undergraduate training at Vanderbilt University, where she triple majored in neuroscience, molecular and cellular biology, and Spanish, before conducting neuroscience research at the NIH. She earned her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Dr. Millan is the founder of Learn2Derm, a community initiative focused on improving access to dermatologic education and care in underserved communities through culturally tailored outreach programs, educational events, and youth engagement. Her clinical interests include Mohs surgery, procedural dermatology, skin cancer prevention, and integrative medicine. She values integrative medicine for its emphasis on combining evidence-based medicine with lifestyle, mindfulness, nutrition, and other complementary approaches to support overall patient wellness and individualized care.
She will continue her training as a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology Fellow at SkinCare Physicians in Boston.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Millan enjoys hot yoga, traveling, spending time with family, playing with her two miniature schnauzers, and discovering new life hacks.
