He holds a BS/MS in Organic Chemistry from Emory and MD/PhD from Harvard Medical School. He has nearly 300 publications, 24 issued US Patents and numerous international patents. He mas made many seminal discoveries in dermatology and oncology. These include the first demonstration of phosphoinositol-3 kinase in angiogenesis, reactive oxygen and Akt in melanoma. Most recently, he served as the inaugural Thomas Lawley Professorship in Dermatology. Throuh his studies on ant venom, he has discovered that the skin barrier function is dependent on ceramide metabolism, allowing for the discovery of common pathways underlying psoriasis, eczema and nonmelamoma skin cancer. Dr Arbiser currently practices at Metroderm/UDP, Atlantas largest private practice dermatology group.

He holds certification from the American Board of Dermatology and boasts a diverse range of talents and achievements. Dr. Bibi commenced his academic journey at Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva, Israel, enrolling in the MD/PhD program. He later ventured to Worcester, Massachusetts, to pursue his research on human papillomavirus related cancer biology and innate immunity at UMass Medical School. Following his research endeavors, Dr. Bibi embarked on his clinical training as a dermatologist through the combined residency program at Boston University and Tufts University. Boston served as the backdrop for his clinical practice for several years until he made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles, California. The move to California provided him with an opportunity to explore his passion for acting and screenwriting while concurrently nurturing his interest in the realm of minimalistic skincare products. Motivated by this passion, he established his own vegan skincare company, named Dr. Bibi Organics. In early 2021, Dr. Bibi relocated once again, this time to Palm Beach County in South Florida. He continues to serve as a dermatologist in the area, while also actively engaging in various pursuits. These include sharing his knowledge through skincare education, creative writing, expanding his skincare company, and undertaking other ventures. As a clinician, Dr. Bibi possesses particular expertise in scalp dermatology, oral and genital dermatology, as well as nail dermatology, allowing him to provide specialized care to his patients in these areas of focus. Dr. Bibi is the author of “Sick Skin - Skincare Made Simple,” an Amazon bestseller exploring the many fallacies cultivated and abused by the skincare industry, as well as providing a comprehensive skincare guide to understanding the language of one’s own skin: “Skinese” and providing for the skin’s basic needs in the most cost effective manner.
