Alexander Arrington is a 3rd-year medical student at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology, Alexander has a propensity for studying the effects of human microflora on health. Alexander believes that health is dependent upon the maintenance of a strong connection to nature and that the achievement of optimal health is reflected in healthy skin. Alexander was born on a farm in the foothills of Appalachia, and from this early environment, he established strong roots tethering him to the natural world. Combining a variety of strategies, he intends to take a comprehensive approach to helping his future patients work toward living their healthiest lives.
