Erin Barrett (Wei), MD is a board-certified dermatologist and NIH-funded clinical investigator with expertise in autoimmune bullous diseases and clinical trial leadership. She earned her undergraduate degree from MIT and her medical degree with honors from Harvard Medical School, where she was a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellow.
She completed her dermatology residency and served as chief resident at the University of Miami. Dr. Barrett previously held faculty roles at Brigham and Women’s Hospital-Harvard Medical School, where she led the Bullous Disease Clinic and received multiple awards for research and patient care.
Currently at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, she serves as Director of Clinical Trials, Director of Inpatient Dermatology Services, and co-Director of both the Bullous Disease and Skin of Color Clinics. She is also pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of Nebraska Omaha.
