Dr. Hellman is a board-certified dermatologist, practicing medical dermatology, and also specializing in dermatological surgery, laser surgery and anti-aging skin treatments (http://www.bigappleskin.com/). An accomplished musician, she received her B.A. Magna Cum Laude from Boston’s Berklee College of Music, Medical degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and completed her residency in Dermatology at SUNY Stony Brook. Dr. Hellman also trained in surgical treatment of skin cancers and in the use of lasers for various skin conditions at the prestigious Long Island Laser CosmediCenter. She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Dermatology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center.
