Ryan C. Kelm is a current fourth year medical student at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He completed his undergraduate training at The University of Oklahoma, graduating with a B.S. in Chemical Biology and a minor in Entrepreneurship. During his time in medical school, he took a year off to pursue research in the department of dermatology clinical trials unit at Northwestern in Chicago, IL. Throughout this appointment, he published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and gave presentations on his research at national meetings. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and matched into a dermatology residency position at Rush in Chicago, IL, which he will begin in 2020. His interests are procedural dermatology and skin cancer. In addition, he is interested in learning how artificial intelligence will impact healthcare and applying these models and innovations to healthcare systems.
