Xiu-Min Li, MD, MS., is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology and Department of Otolaryngology at New York Medical College. Dr. Li obtained her medical degree in Henan University of Chinese Medicine and a master’s degree in Integrative Clinical Pediatric Immunology from China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. She was a Visiting Scientist at Stanford in Pediatric Allergy and completed postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Immunology at Johns Hopkins where she was appointed instructor.

She has chaired prominent committees about the use of alternative medicines for allergic diseases in the US and internationally. Her research focusses on Integrative Medicine for Allergies and Wellness. Her research has yielded over 100 publications. She was awarded the Future of Health Technology Award for 2016. She and Henry Ehrlich co-authored of book titled Use of Traditional Chinese Medicine for Eczema.
