Psoriasis is a chronic relapsing-remitting inflammatory skin condition. Treatment goals focus on decreasing ongoing inflammation, and thus improving quality of life while highlighting the National Psoriasis Foundation’s Treat to Target. Successful psoriasis education surrounds empowering patients and caregivers to become proactive, rather than reactive with their psoriasis care.
