Dr. Michael James Lawson is a current PGY2 Dermatology Resident at the Military Residency at Wilford Hall Surgical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He attended West Point Military Academy for Undergrad and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences for medical school. His interest in integrative medicine stems from his major in Chinese and the time he spent in Taipei and Beijing, where he experienced the dichotomy of traditional Chinese medicine and Modern Western style medicine. He is committed to continued research and academics in this field in order to optimally consider whole patient, personalized, and culturally considerate care within his practice.
