Dr. Thomas Le is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. He did his undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley and received his MD and MPH at Johns Hopkins University. Thomas' interest in integrative medicine stemmed from his experiences growing up in a Vietnamese immigrant community, where he experienced first-hand how immigrant patients sought out alternative treatment options when seeking out healthcare. These experiences motivated Thomas' work in medical school, where he conducted anthropology research in Japan examining the modern-day intersection of Western and complementary alternative medicine. Now as a dermatologist, Thomas is excited to participate in the IDRAP to learn how to apply integrative medicine in clinical practice.
