Acne 101 - An Integrative Overview

This session will review the various causes of acne, describe the different subtypes of acne, and discuss different conventional and integrative approaches dermatologist Dr. Nicole Rocca uses in her practice. This discussion will be followed by an overview of the IECP curriculum to discover the benefits of integrative skin care and everything the program has to offer!

Review and explain the various causes of acne
Describe the different subtypes of acne
Understand how to identify acne mimickers such as "fungal acne" and the importance of collaborating with a dermatologist
Review the various conventional and integrative approaches to improving barrier function
