This course will help participants strengthen their knowledge regarding when it is appropriate to start a systemic therapy in pediatric patients with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. This course will also review systemic treatment options available for moderate to severe pediatric atopic dermatitis patients, focusing on dupilumab and methotrexate.

Learning Objectives

  • Recall the signs and symptoms that indicate the need for use of systemic medications in pediatric patients with MTSAD
  • Compare the evidence of systemic medications in the treatment of MTSAD
