Description

Hyperpigmentation is a problem that affects a wide variety of people including women and people with skin of color. The most common hyperpigmentation disorders include solar lentigo, melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. While current depigmentation solutions are available, they are often toxic or come with unwanted side effects. Research is showing that extracts from a variety of botanicals (such as aloe, green tea, pomegranate and ashwaganda) may offer new options for reducing hyperpigmentation by impeding melanin production.
