Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory offers functional GI testing using advanced quantitative DNA technology. The GI-MAP® is the only comprehensive stool analysis to offer quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) for testing levels of gut microbes, including bacteria, yeast, and parasites. The GI-MAP also gives practitioners an assessment of digestion, gut inflammation, and mucosal barrier health. Assessing gut health using the GI-MAP can often reveal the root cause of common patient complaints - from acne to autoimmune disease.
