Thank you for attending IDS 2025! Please complete the evaluation form to generate your certificate.

The annual Integrative Dermatology Symposium is designed to appeal to practitioners across disciplines. It will address emerging trends, and practical approaches to dermatology as practitioners assess and manage skin conditions and care. There is a great need for best practice sharing and cross-collaboration to support practitioners in the field and improve patient care outcomes.

After completing this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Assess the role of GLP-1 and GIP agonists for weight management and their implications in managing inflammatory skin conditions.
  • Interpret the pathophysiology of hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) and assess how exercise and lifestyle practices influence disease management.
  • Describe how lifestyle factors contribute to the development and management of acne and rosacea.
  • Create interdisciplinary strategies to enhance JAK inhibition therapy for the treatment of alopecia areata (AA), integrating pharmaceutical and lifestyle approaches.
  • Analyze integrative treatment strategies for psoriasis, combining pharmaceutical therapies with lifestyle modifications for optimal outcomes.
  • Define integrative approaches to eczema that focus on restoring the skin barrier and modulating immune responses, including TH2 inflammation.
  • Evaluate treatment strategies for vitiligo and melasma, incorporating environmental, lifestyle, and integrative factors affecting skin pigmentation.
  • Identify therapeutic strategies that regulate immune responses to effectively manage chronic spontaneous urticaria.
  • Examine innovative therapeutic paradigms and emerging treatments for pediatric dermatologic conditions.
  • Evaluate advancing treatment strategies for Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) to provide effective patient support and management.
  • Discuss the role of polyphenols and antioxidants in achieving anti-inflammatory effects and improving skin health.
  • Describe how movement and mindfulness practices can positively influence dermatologic conditions.
