Course: Supplements, Herbs and Diet for PCOS
Evidence for the Use of Supplements, Herbs, and Diet for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
Tess Engel

This course provides an overview of polycystic ovarian syndrome and some of the herbal and nutritional supplements investigated for treating this disorder. We examine the evidence for myo-inositol and dive into research on herbal remedies such as berberine. A dermatologist can often be the first care provider to recognize this condition, but what can they suggest for treatment beyond the realm of pharmacology? More importantly, what is the evidence for the use of herbs and supplements for PCOS.
