    Divya Sharma, MD is a member of Summit Health's Dermatology team. She has special clinical interest in hair health, pigmentary conditions such as vitiligo, and chronic itch. Dr. Sharma uses a proactive approach, encouraging prevention and dermatologic maintenance. She also performs minor cosmetic procedures.

    Samantha Ellis, MD is a board-certified medical and cosmetic dermatologist. Dr. Ellis graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship to attend the University of Michigan Medical School, where she completed her medical doctorate and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society for exceptional academic performance and leadership in her program.After finishing her medical internship in Denver, Colorado, she returned to her home state of California to complete her dermatology residency at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Ellis has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and authored several medical textbook chapters on a broad range of dermatology topics including cutaneous immunology, dermatologic surgery, cosmeceuticals, and skin aging. She also volunteers her time as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UC Davis.

    Suhani Bora, MD is currently the Director of Integrative Health and Core faculty at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC) and Lawrence Family Medicine Residency (LFMR) in Lawrence, MA. After completing medical school at the University of Michigan, Suhani trained in family medicine at the University of Wisconsin. Following residency, she joined the faculty at GLFHC/LFMR in Lawrence, MA, which is an urban, primarily Spanish speaking, city north of Boston. While at GLFHC she learned Spanish and was introduced to group medical visits through Centering Pregnancy   Her interest in integrative medicine and exploring the evidence behind the traditional healing practices used by her patients led her back to Madison, WI where she completed a fellowship in Academic Integrative Medicine. As a fellow, she developed Whole Health Group Visits, a series of lifestyle- focused group visits to discuss wellness topics and address loneliness. Following the fellowship, Suhani resumed her work with underserved communities by bringing Whole Health Group Visits, along with new integrative medicine tools, into her primary care practice at a federally qualified health center in Madison, WI before returning to GLFHC / LFMR in Lawrence, MA.

    Peter Koshland, PharmD is a graduate of Georgetown University (1996) and the University of California at San Francisco School of Pharmacy (2000). Peter opened his compounding pharmacy, Koshland Pharm, in 2009 in San Francisco, and has continued to work with doctors and patients on individualized, integrative therapies that make a difference in the quality of patients’ day-to-day lives. He trains and consults with doctors across the state of California in the areas of hormone replacement, thyroid disorders, and compounding applications for dermatology, urology, and pain management.

    Dr. Vivien Fam received a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biology from UC Davis and is also a Registered Dietitian. She has always been interested in the effects of nutrition on skin health, from acute conditions such as pressure ulcers to chronic medical conditions such as acne and psoriasis to cosmetic concerns such as facial wrinkles, dryness, and dullness. Dr. Fam also believes that nutrition recommendations should be targeted to a person's dietary habits and preferences which can be influenced by traditions, cultures, and socioeconomic status. Her research interests include the effects of whole foods and functional foods on skin health and other chronic conditions.

  6. Fabrizio Galimberti

    Fabrizio Galimberti
    Fabrizio Galimberti is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami. He obtained his PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology at Dartmouth College investigating the role of the Hedgehog signaling pathway in epithelial cancers. He obtained his MD from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and completed his residency in Dermatology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. Dr. Galimberti is interested in chronic inflammatory conditions, such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, and how they affect more than the skin. Dr. Galimberti is also interested in how biologics may affect other organs beside the targeted one (the skin) and how holistic approaches may benefit patients with chronic conditions. Dr. Galimberti is the principal investigator and/or sub-investigators in clinical and mechanistic studies of chronic inflammatory conditions.

    Dr. Flamm is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist and is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Pathology at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She has a clinical focus on contact dermatitis and serves as Program Director of the dermatology residency program. Dr. Flamm graduated cum laude from Duke University with a B.A. in Literature. She received her Medical Degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and during this time, she also completed a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship at the University of Iowa. She completed her dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and served as Chief Resident during her final year. She then completed a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Flamm is the AAD Alternate Advisor to the RUC and is Deputy Chair of the RUC-CPT Committee. She is also actively involved as a member of the Coding & Reimbursement Committee, Health Care Finance Committee, and Patient Access and Payer Relations committees. In addition, she also serves as Vice-Chair of the Communications Committee for the American Society of Dermatopathology and as a member of the AMA and Health Policy Committee for the American Contact Dermatitis Society. On a state level, she is an At Large Director in the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology and is the PAD representative to the Pennsylvania Medical Society House of Delegates. She has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters. She has spoken at meetings on the local, regional and national level and received several awards for her teaching and advocacy work.

    Mark Kaufmann, MD, is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, a position he has held since 1995.  He was in solo private practice for 23 years until he joined The Dermatology Group in November 2017. In September 2020, he joined Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery as their Chief Medical Officer.He received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, completing residency training in dermatology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. He is board certified in dermatology.Dr. Kaufmann is currently President-Elect of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has served on the AAD Board of Directors, as well as countless AAD committees, and has chaired many of them as well. He also serves as an advisor to the Academy RUC team (Relative Value Scale Update Committee) - a position he has held for over a decade.Dr. Kaufmann’s contributions to the American Academy of Dermatology have been recognized by his receiving a Presidential Citation in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2020. With many articles published on the topic of health information technology, Dr. Kaufmann is a frequent national lecturer, including the annual meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology, and other societies, and grand rounds.

    Dr. Lisa Lombard is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Chicago, USA. She has over 30 years of direct service, teaching, and supervisory experience. She integrates mind-body skills in her therapeutic work with children, families, and adults as they cope with anxiety, stress-mediated health concerns, and pain. She also treats children and adults experiencing unexpected grief and loss. She regularly trains health care providers on stress and pain management. Dr. Lombard is a psychological advisor to a start-up tech company that supports food allergy care and co-founded a non-profit, Comfort Kits for Children®.   For over 10 years she delivered services within a preschool and elementary school, in addition to her private practice. She provided parent guidance, clinical supervision to psychology graduate students, and consultation to educators on topics such as risk behaviors, trauma, SEL, and screen-time. She was a Research Assistant Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Department of Medical Social Sciences, Center for Food Allergy and Asthma Research, where she applied her knowledge of stress management skills (like mindfulness, hypnosis, and guided imagery) to better understand and meet the psycho-emotional needs of those with food allergies, eczema, and atopic disease. She was a team member on several research projects that resulted in a dozen peer-reviewed publications. While on faculty she led behavioral health initiatives within the Center and the launch of a free digital behavioral health tool for parents during the pandemic. In March 2022 she co-founded the nonprofit Comfort Kits for Children, an outgrowth of collaboration with the National Pediatric Hypnosis Training Institute (NPHTI) and HealthFrontiers.org. They have provided over 1500 Comfort Kits of mind-body toys and practices globally, to children impacted by war (Ukraine, Poland, Israel, and potentially Gaza), earthquakes (Turkey), wildfires (Maui, Hawaii USA), and community violence (Chicago). This organization maintains a website of curated behavioral health resources to support children experiencing traumatic events and is available in 6 languages. They also provide webinars and virtual Q & A sessions to caregivers in schools, shelters, and clinics who use Comfort Kits with children.  Dr. Lombard earned her BA in Behavioral Sciences and PhD in Psychology/Human Development from the University of Chicago, where she trained and worked with Erika Fromm, PhD. She completed an APA-approved internship at the Illinois State Psychiatric Institute. She is an ASCH Approved Consultant. She is an active teacher and leader in NPHTI (Faculty and President of the Board of Directors). She represents Division 30 (Society for Psychological Hypnosis) in the Council of Representatives of the American Psychological Association and is past president of the Chicago Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Throughout the pandemic she provided free weekly virtual mindfulness sessions for her community and colleagues.

Gladskin is a leader in global endolysin technology and uses its science to improve inflammatory skin conditions by rebalancing the skin microbiome.   Throughout his career, Skyler has advised, invested in and developed businesses across technology-driven sectors. Most recently, at Obvious Ventures, a venture capital firm dedicated to startups that combine profit and purpose, Skyler focused on companies commercializing microbiome science to improve human health. While seeking investment opportunities in microbiome focused companies, Skyler met the European-based Gladskin team. Gladskin's endolysin technology developed by Micreos B.V. was the most impressive applied science in the space. This inspired Skyler to join the team to further build on Gladskin’s success in Europe and to make the products available to the millions of Americans with inflammatory skin conditions.   Previously, Skyler was a Principal at Bregal Investments, a global private equity firm where he was on the board of various high growth portfolio companies. Skyler has served as an Advisor to Clarity Genomics, which develops computational platforms to elucidate mechanisms of action for human - microbiome interactions. Skyler holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Duke University.

    Dr. Keenan is a naturopathic doctor whose goal is to serve as many people as he can through the utilization of mind-body practices, botanical medicines, and targeted nutraceutical supplementation when needed. He sees healing as a collaborative journey between patient and practitioner.The most common conditions he sees involve stress management, nutritional counseling, weight loss, digestive problems, insomnia, metabolic and endocrine diseases, anxiety, depression, and fatigue. Additionally he has experience in pediatrics, specifically working with children over the age of 4 in issues such as eczema and psoriasis, digestion concerns, and some auto-immune conditions. Furthermore, he utilizes cranio-sacral treatments to help balance the mind, body, and spirit, which he sees as deeply connected.He is passionate about working in collaboration with your care team to find the root cause of illness, address it, and watch as you to go after your unique passions and lead the life you want to lead! Furthermore, he is diligent about staying current on the latest research and clinical trials in complementary medicine and practices holding both ancient wisdoms and current scientific evidence in both hands as he treats you as a unique individual in body, mind, and spirit with your own preferences and desires for care. He is an expert and educator in herbal medicines having taught at Bastyr University for 5 years on the subject and utilizes herbs extensively in his practice.     Markus Ploesser, MD is Board Certified in General and Forensic Psychiatry through ABPN. Dr.Ploesser is also a diplomate of ABPS in Integrative Medicine. Dr. Ploesser completed his Psychiatry residency training at the Columbia University and his fellowship training in Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Washington. He is also a graduate of Columbia University School of Law in the LLM program. Dr. Ploesser completed additional fellowship training in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona. Dr. Ploesser has a vast array of clinical interests. However, his areas of expertise include adult ADHD, holistic, and integrative medicine. He is also specializing in forensic psychiatry and evaluations. Dr. Ploesser is interested in Integrative Medicine and prefers to minimize the need for prescription medications. He believes that what we eat can affect our mental health and that our lifestyle changes make a difference in mental health.

    A member of the Division of Integrative Medicine, Dr. Bonakdar received his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree in psychobiology from Occidental College in Los Angeles. He received the Richter Fellowship for Independent International Research in the field of Southeast Asian heath practices and studied in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, and Indonesia. He completed a clinical and research fellowship in integrative medicine at Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine in La Jolla and a residency in family practice at the Sharp Grossmont Family Practice Residency Program in San Diego. Board certified by the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Bonakdar is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Family Physicians, the California Academy of Family Physicians, the American Holistic Medical Association, and the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. He has conducted award-winning research and presented at numerous conferences in the area of herbal and natural medicines.

    Tiffany Loh is from Los Angeles and spent her formative years in Southern California. After receiving her medical degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine, she completed internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and is currently a dermatology resident at the University of Arizona. Her dermatologic interests include medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and dermatologic surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, swimming, reading books, and singing.

    Dr. Emily Poccia is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. She offers a Family Medicine practice at Wildcraft Medicine in La Jolla, CA with a primary focus in digestive health, fertility and preconception, and athletic performance. Previous to this, she practiced at RestorMedicine for three and a half years where she was trained by Lyme disease specialist, Dr. Nicola Ducharme, in holistic treatment and management of Lyme disease. Dr. Poccia received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in Health and Exercise Science and graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ in 2014, where she received her Doctorate degree and four-year training in Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Emily has received advanced training in IV Nutritional Therapy, and IV Ozone. She is also trained in Biotherapeutic Drainage, Applied Kinesiology, Mayan Uterine Massage, Gemstone Energy Medicine and Hydrotherapy.

    Sabrina Magno is a certified nutritionist, lactation educator, First Line Therapist practitioner, and an activist for food diversity, sustainability, and the environment. She has also previously worked for a government-funded nutritional program designed to safeguard the health of low-income families. There she was able to share her passion for breastfeeding, advocated food as medicine, and made a positive impact on a disadvantaged population who had been targeted by unhealthy food marketing. Sabrina completed her nutritional medicine certification at The American University of Complementary Medicine in 2005 where she studied under Diana Noland, MPH, RD, CCN, LD. DIFM, who was on the Faculty of the Institute for Functional Medicine. In 2007 Sabrina completed her Lactation Educator training at UCLA. Sabrina has additional training and certification in Blood Chemistry Analysis, Functional Endocrinology, Applying Advanced Nutritional Strategies for Autoimmune Diseases, Mastering Brain Chemistry, Understanding Gluten sensitivity, and Leaky Gut. These modules of training were sponsored by the University of Bridgeport and taught by Dr. Datis Kharrazian. DHSc, DC, MS, Ph.D. in 2007. Additionally, Sabrina completed certifications on Applying Personalized Lifestyle Medicine, Understanding the Origins, and Applying Advanced Nutritional Strategies for Autoimmune Diseases taught by Jeffrey Bland, Ph.D., in 2008.

    Dr. Samantha Sharp grew up in Reno, Nev. She is a proud graduate of the UW Department of Family Medicine and Community Health residency in 2012 and the UW Integrative Medicine Fellowship in 2014. After completing her fellowship, she spent three months driving across the United States and six months working as a locum tenens in New Zealand with her family in tow. As a family doctor, her medical interests are broad, but her specific passions include care for all ages, transgender medicine and treating headaches. Her integrative medicine interests include medical hypnosis, osteopathic manipulation, nutrition and herbs and supplements. Dr. Sharp feels strongly that vaccines are the best way to protect the public health of our global community and recommends them to all patients.

    Dr. Reena Rupani earned an undergraduate degree in Economics from Harvard University, followed by an MD from Yale. She completed her internship at NYU and went on to serve as Chief Resident in Dermatology at Brown University. After several years of academic medical practice, she completed the University of Arizona's Fellowship in Integrative Medicine, and co-authored the volume on Integrative Dermatology as part of Dr Andrew Weil's textbook series through Oxford University Press. She practices traditional and integrative dermatology on faculty at the ICAHN School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center, in New York City.

    Dr. Larissa Larsen is a board certified dermatologist at Pacifica Center for Dermatology in Camarillo, Ca. A Camarillo native, Dr. Larsen attended University of California, Davis for undergraduate education and attended Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Dr. Larsen completed her dermatology residency at University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento CA, after which she was invited to stay on as teaching faculty and serve as associate program director. Her research interests and clinical focus were in patient education and hormonally related conditions such as acne, hidradenitis suppurativa, hair loss, and female health. Dr. Larsen worked as faculty at the University of California, Davis until moving back to Camarillo in 2018. As a general, medical dermatologist she is excited to treat a broad variety of dermatologic conditions affecting all ages. Dr. Larsen believes a strong commitment to patient education is paramount. And her primary goal is to assure her patient’s comfort throughout their visits and treatments. Crucial to this approach is actively engaging patients in their treatment decisions. It is rewarding to her to find an effective treatment for complicated dermatologic conditions and ultimately collaborating with other medical specialties to optimize patient care.
