Ryan KelmFacultyRyan C. Kelm is a current PGY2 Dermatology resident at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He completed his undergraduate training at The University of Oklahoma, graduating with a B.S. in Chemical Biology and a minor in Entrepreneurship. During his time in medical school, he took a year off to pursue research in the Department of Dermatology clinical trials unit at Northwestern in Chicago, IL. Throughout this appointment, he published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and gave presentations on his research at national meetings. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health and Sciences Center Medical school as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. His interests are procedural dermatology and skin cancer. In addition, he is interested in learning how artificial intelligence will impact healthcare and applying these models and innovations to healthcare systems.

John E. LewisFacultyJohn E. Lewis, Ph.D. is the original founder and current executive of Nurish.Me (www.nurish.me). He is also a past full-time associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and now remains as a voluntary associate professor. He is a diplomate, faculty member, and advisor of the Medical Wellness Association. Dr. Lewis has been the principal investigator of multiple nutrition, dietary supplement, exercise training, and medical device studies in the last 2 decades. Much of his research has included investigating the effects of interventions on a wide variety of outcomes, including immune and cognitive functioning, inflammation, physical fitness, nutrient status, quality of life, and mental health, in healthy adults and in those with Alzheimer’s, HIV, MS, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, diabetes, chronic pain, and GI disorders, among others. Amelia HausauerFacultyA visionary and thought leader in the field of minimally invasive aesthetics, Dr. Amelia K. Hausauer is the Director of Dermatology for Aesthetx, a premier plastic surgery and dermatology practice located in the heart of Silicon Valley. She is an innovator and rising star in the world of platelet rich plasma (PRP) and microneedling, spearheading several research trials on these subjects in addition to lecturing and training other healthcare providers across the country. Dr. Hausauer is also the chief editor and major contributing author to the upcoming medical textbook, PRP and Microneedling in Aesthetic Medicine, and has written multiple pieces on neuromodulators (i.e. Botox® cosmetic) and dermal fillers. Leslie BaumannFacultyDr. Leslie Baumann is internationally known for her contributions to the field of cosmetic dermatology. She founded the University of Miami Cosmetic Medicine and Research Institute in 1997- the first academic institute in the US dedicated to cosmetic dermatology. She served as Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine until 2006 when the Institute became independent from the University and the name changed to the Baumann Cosmetic and Research Institute.
Derek JonesFacultyBoard-certified in dermatology, Dr. Jones received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, and completed his dermatology residency at Columbia University in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident. In 1999 he founded Skin Care and Laser Physicians of Beverly Hills, where he is the Director. Dr. Jones is currently Director of an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) Cosmetic Fellowship, and for 20 years prior was Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Jones is an internationally regarded key opinion leader and researcher on cosmetic injectables. He is frequently an invited speaker at national dermatology meetings and has delivered over 300 scholarly lectures internationally. Dr. Jones is a widely published author, with more than 110 publications in leading peer-reviewed medical journals. He has written several textbook chapters and is Editor of the textbook Injectable Fillers: Principles and Practice (Wiley-Blackwell), and the upcoming Injectable Fillers: Facial Contouring and Sculpting (Wiley-Blackwell). Amy BaderFacultyAmy Bader ND is a doctor, teacher, speaker, writer and entrepreneur. She is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley as well as the National University of Natural Medicine, where she is now an adjunct clinical faculty member. She has private practices in Northern California and Portland, Oregon, where she lives with her beautiful daughter. DiAnne S DavisFacultyDiAnne S. Davis, MD, MS is a board certified dermatologist with an emphasis on cosmetic dermatology, hair loss, and treating of skin color.She completed her undergraduate education from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She also obtained a master’s of science degree in Cell & Molecular Biology from Tulane University. She then received her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences along with the Walter F. Rosen Award for Outstanding Student in Dermatology.Dr. Davis completed her dermatology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where she was chief resident her senior year of residency training. While in residency Dr. Davis was influential in coordinating the first Skin of Color Symposium helping to promote awareness of the unique features of skin of color from both a medical and cosmetic dermatologic viewpoint. She has several journal articles and textbook chapters (both for medical and cosmetic dermatology) and presented some of her work at local and regional dermatology meetings. Heather ZwickeyFacultyHeather Zwickey, PhD, earned a Ph.D. in Immunology and Microbiology from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Zwickey went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship and teach medical school at Yale University. At the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR, Dr. Zwickey is the founder the Helfgott Research Institute and established the School of Graduate Studies, developing programs in research, nutrition, and global health among others. She currently leads an NIH funded clinical research training program. She teaches at many universities and speaks at conferences world-wide. At Helfgott Research Institute, Dr. Zwickey applies her immunology expertise to natural medicine,with specific interest in the gut-brain axis in neuroinflammation.
DeJarra SimsFacultyDr. DeJarra K. Sims, known by her patients as Dr. DJ, is a Naturopathic Doctor, published author, and prolific speaker. She received her Bachelor's in Biology from Prairie View A&M University, in Texas, and she completed her doctorate at Sonoran University of Health Sciences in Phoenix (formerly SCNM).
