    Joyce Chen is a first-year medical student at California Northstate University, College of Medicine. She graduated from Cornell University in 2017 with a degree in Human Biology, Health and Society and from Brown University in 2019 with a Masters's degree in Medical Sciences. Having previously worked on the business side of skincare and cosmeceuticals, she developed a strong interest in dermatology. She hopes to help empower her future patients to make informed decisions about the medicines and products they use to improve their skin health.

    Dr Neal Jain is an Arizona native. He obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and subsequently trained in Pediatrics at Phoenix Children’s Hospital where he served as a chief resident during 2001-2002. Both he and Dr. Shimamoto trained in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology at National Jewish Health Center and University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Jain was appointed Chief Fellow at National Jewish Health Center and was a member of the Medical Staff between 2003-2004. Prior to joining San Tan Allergy & Asthma in January 2010 , he practiced as an Allergist/Immunologist at Dean Health System in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Jain was also on faculty as a Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin in the division of Allergy, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine, where he supervised fellows in training. He has been an active member of the community serving as Medical Director for the Food Allergy Association of Wisconsin, Chair of The Wisconsin Asthma Coalition and on the Board of Directors for the National Eczema Association. Dr. Jain is President of the Arizona Allergy Society, a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology and of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is board certified by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology and Pediatrics. Dr. Jain is currently a regular contributing writer of the “House Call” segment for the magazine Living Without (http://www.livingwithout.com/) and has also been featured on a nationally syndicated television program to discuss new asthma technologies. He has authored or co-authored a number of studies published in peer-reviewed journals and continues to pursue clinical research. Dr. Jain is currently accepting new pediatric and adult patients. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dr. Jain enjoys spending time with his family, playing doubles sand volleyball, and cooking.

    Dr. Jacknin is a board-certified dermatologist, author, national speaker, and consultant, with expertise in holistic dermatology, natural cosmeceuticals, and topical hemp and cannabinoids for beauty and health. She is the author of the 400 pg. classic book Smart Medicine for Your Skin, published by Penguin Putnam in 2001. It was the first book to detail what integrative dermatology is, and to discuss in depth the conventional and holistic treatments for 33 different skin disorders and healthy states.

    Dr. Jennifer Hsiao is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Southern California (USC). She is dedicated to improving the medical care and quality of life for patients with hidradenitis suppurativa through direct patient interaction as well as research. She is also interested in management of skin conditions in pregnant and breastfeeding patients. In addition to her clinical work, she is also passionate about medical education, and enjoys teaching medical students and residents.

    Board-certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine and Integrative Holistic Medicine, Dr. Mimi Guarneri is President of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine (AIHM) and the Past President of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine (ABIHM) and served as Senior Advisor to the Atlantic Health System for the Chambers Center for Well Being, among other healthcare systems. Dr. Guarneri currently serves on the Founding Board of the American Board Physician Specialties in Integrative Medicine (ABOIM), and is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). She is co-founder and medical director of Guarneri Integrative Health, Inc. at Pacific Pearl La Jolla in La Jolla, California, U.S.A. since 2014, where she leads a team of experts in Conventional, Integrative and Natural Medicine.

    Dr. Aric Prather is an associate professor in the UCSF Department of Psychiatry and the director of the UCSF Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program. His research focuses on the inter-relationship between psychological stress and sleep as dynamic predictors of physical and mental health. His research utilizes epidemiologic, naturalistic, and laboratory based studies to understand the extent to which sleep disturbance serves as a critical behavioral pathway to poor health. With specialized training in psychoneuroimmunology (PNI), he primarily focuses on immune outcomes implicated in infectious disease, inflammatory conditions, and accelerated immunosenescence. He is also a licensed clinical-health psychologist who specializes in treating Insomnia Disorder using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

    Ardalan Minokadeh, MD PhD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained cosmetic dermatologist. He completed a highly competitive and rigorous ASDS (American Society of Dermatologic Surgery) accredited fellowship at Skin Care and Laser Physicians of Beverly Hills. During this year long fellowship, he worked one-on-one with hands-on training from mentors Drs. Derek Jones and Naissan Wesley and has since joined the practice as an associate.Dr. Ardalan's passion for medicine started during his time at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. He was subsequently accepted into 1 of the 2 positions in the competitive tuition-free Physician Scientist Program at the Tulane University School of Medicine after which he obtained both his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. Dr. Ardalan's Ph.D. research in neuropeptides was conducted at the University of California, San Diego, for which his research was supported by funding awarded to him from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).Dr. Ardalan chose to stay in New Orleans, LA, at Tulane University to complete his dermatology residency training along with an internship in Internal Medicine. In his last year of training, he served as Chief Resident of Medical Education.As a physician and scientist, Dr. Ardalan is committed to advancing the field of dermatology, and in this light, has authored many peer reviewed publications in leading medical journals, has authored several textbook chapters and presented scholarly lectures at national and international dermatology meetings. He has also served as an investigator for clinical trials in cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Ardalan is a member of many relevant organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.

    Dr. Kimber Stanhope is Research Nutritional Biologist in the Department of Molecular Biosciences, University of California Davis, and a nationally/internationally recognized expert on the health effects of added sugar consumption. She is currently conducting her 5th NIH-awarded clinical study, which includes a recently funded investigation comparing the consumption of sucrose-sweetened beverages and naturally-sweetened orange juice on metabolic processes involved in the development of cardiometabolic disease. She has authored/coauthored over 40 research reports and reviews on the topic of sugar consumption. She has made over 50 presentations at state/national/international conferences and summits and has participated in more than 100 interviews, which included appearances on CBS 60 Minutes and CBC 5th Estate.

    Ryan C. Kelm is a current PGY2 Dermatology resident at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He completed his undergraduate training at The University of Oklahoma, graduating with a B.S. in Chemical Biology and a minor in Entrepreneurship. During his time in medical school, he took a year off to pursue research in the Department of Dermatology clinical trials unit at Northwestern in Chicago, IL. Throughout this appointment, he published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and gave presentations on his research at national meetings. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health and Sciences Center Medical school as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. His interests are procedural dermatology and skin cancer. In addition, he is interested in learning how artificial intelligence will impact healthcare and applying these models and innovations to healthcare systems.

    Dr. Jaclyn Chasse is a licensed naturopathic doctor. She works in clinical practice in addition to her role as VP of Medical Education & Wellevate at Emerson Ecologics, where she has been responsible to oversee quality and the Emerson Quality Program. Her practice, Perfect Fertility, is dedicated to fertility, sexual health and family wellness. She is Immediate Past President of both the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the NH Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She's served on several boards, including the American Herbal Products Association and many others. In addition to doctor, Dr. Chasse's proudest role is of Mother to a bustling houseful of children and slobbering dogs. They enjoy any family time that includes laughter, cooking, gardening, and travel (especially to sunny locations!).

Dr. Fallick has been involved in both the clinical treatment of skin cancer and the resultant reconstructive surgery. He has been pursuing the development of physical based photoprotective topical products after founding Fallene, Ltd in 1989.

Dr. Lily is a leading expert on the board at Frontline Media where she has written over 100 articles on skincare and cosmetics, Dr. Talakoub is a name media insiders trust. She is a regular expert on the news, has over 150 written media pieces in magazines such as INStyle, New Beauty, Cosmopolitan, Allure etc and is a national trainer and lead injection expert for Allergan.

    John E. Lewis, Ph.D. is the original founder and current executive of Nurish.Me (www.nurish.me). He is also a past full-time associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and now remains as a voluntary associate professor. He is a diplomate, faculty member, and advisor of the Medical Wellness Association. Dr. Lewis has been the principal investigator of multiple nutrition, dietary supplement, exercise training, and medical device studies in the last 2 decades. Much of his research has included investigating the effects of interventions on a wide variety of outcomes, including immune and cognitive functioning, inflammation, physical fitness, nutrient status, quality of life, and mental health, in healthy adults and in those with Alzheimer’s, HIV, MS, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, diabetes, chronic pain, and GI disorders, among others. He has co-authored more than 170 peer-reviewed scientific articles, has mentored many undergraduate, graduate, and medical students in exercise, nutrition, and health promotion, and has been an invited speaker at multiple international and national conferences, including a seminal talk on the results of his work in Alzheimer’s for TEDxMiami (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOJr0sxmxGI).     A visionary and thought leader in the field of minimally invasive aesthetics, Dr. Amelia K. Hausauer is the Director of Dermatology for Aesthetx, a premier plastic surgery and dermatology practice located in the heart of Silicon Valley. She is an innovator and rising star in the world of platelet rich plasma (PRP) and microneedling, spearheading several research trials on these subjects in addition to lecturing and training other healthcare providers across the country. Dr. Hausauer is also the chief editor and major contributing author to the upcoming medical textbook, PRP and Microneedling in Aesthetic Medicine, and has written multiple pieces on neuromodulators (i.e. Botox® cosmetic) and dermal fillers. She has served as an investigator on trials for Allergan, Merz Aesthetics, Revance Therapeutics, and ThermiGen LLC. During the day, she can be found practicing as a compounding pharmacist and ensuring compliance and quality, where she is the owner and Director of Pharmacy at Lloyd Central Compounding Pharmacy.
