She is an instructor at Tri State College of Acupuncture (TSCA) in Manhattan, NY teaching advanced cosmetic acupuncture and writes distance learning courses in cosmetic acupuncture for acupuncturists around the country.

    Dr. Tacita Robertson is passionate about helping patients have a high quality of life. She is board certified in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine and is training with the Aesthetic and Anti-Aging World Congress in Europe. Dr. Tacita’s core specialties include: hormone optimization, regenerative aesthetics, hair restoration, sexual wellness, and dermatology. She believes that sacrificing ones internal health to look good is never worth it. This has led her to innovate new products and protocols to get meaningful results without toxic side effects. Dr. Tacita leads a busy private practice in Kirkland, WA.

    Dr. Leslie Baumann is internationally known for her contributions to the field of cosmetic dermatology. She founded the University of Miami Cosmetic Medicine and Research Institute in 1997- the first academic institute in the US dedicated to cosmetic dermatology. She served as Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine until 2006 when the Institute became independent from the University and the name changed to the Baumann Cosmetic and Research Institute.

    Board-certified in dermatology, Dr. Jones received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, and completed his dermatology residency at Columbia University in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident. In 1999 he founded Skin Care and Laser Physicians of Beverly Hills, where he is the Director. Dr. Jones is currently Director of an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) Cosmetic Fellowship, and for 20 years prior was Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Jones is an internationally regarded key opinion leader and researcher on cosmetic injectables. He is frequently an invited speaker at national dermatology meetings and has delivered over 300 scholarly lectures internationally. Dr. Jones is a widely published author, with more than 110 publications in leading peer-reviewed medical journals. He has written several textbook chapters and is Editor of the textbook Injectable Fillers: Principles and Practice (Wiley-Blackwell), and the upcoming Injectable Fillers: Facial Contouring and Sculpting (Wiley-Blackwell). Dr. Jones is an Assistant Editor for Journal of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Jones served as the lead investigator on the Juvederm Voluma® and Kybella trials that led to FDA approval. He has been a principal investigator on many clinical trials in facial aesthetics, including the trials that led to FDA approval of Juvéderm® , Latisse®, Belotero®, Xeomin®, Restylane Refyne® and Radiesse® for hands, as well as 2 other Phase 3 studies of novel neurotoxins. Dr. Jones is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and ASDS, and has filled numerous leadership roles for ASDS, including 3 years on the Board of Directors.

    Amy Bader ND is a doctor, teacher, speaker, writer and entrepreneur. She is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley as well as the National University of Natural Medicine, where she is now an adjunct clinical faculty member. She has private practices in Northern California and Portland, Oregon, where she lives with her beautiful daughter. She has a passion for treating patients with chronic diseases using clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, Biotherapeutic Drainage, and homeopathy. She has a particular interest in working with patients who want to lose weight and feel comfortable in their bodies. Dr. Bader has been interviewed as an expert in natural medicine and natural healthcare for radio, newspapers, magazines and television. She is contributing expert columnist for The NaturalPath, an online natural health resource. Dr. Bader was a founding co-director of NCNM’s Integrative Skin Care Clinic. She is a member of the Advisory Counsel for Kamedis, a bio-herbal skin care company, and is a trainer for Radiancy, maker of LHE® phototherapy systems.

She is the President of the World Health Academy of Integrative Dermatology. She is author or editor of 7 dermatology textbooks including Advances in Integrative Dermatology, Stress and Skin Disorders and Trichotillomania: Clinical Characteristics, Psychological Interventions and Emotional Effects.

    DiAnne S. Davis, MD, MS is a board certified dermatologist with an emphasis on cosmetic dermatology, hair loss, and treating of skin color.She completed her undergraduate education from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She also obtained a master’s of science degree in Cell & Molecular Biology from Tulane University. She then received her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences along with the Walter F. Rosen Award for Outstanding Student in Dermatology.Dr. Davis completed her dermatology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where she was chief resident her senior year of residency training. While in residency Dr. Davis was influential in coordinating the first Skin of Color Symposium helping to promote awareness of the unique features of skin of color from both a medical and cosmetic dermatologic viewpoint. She has several journal articles and textbook chapters (both for medical and cosmetic dermatology) and presented some of her work at local and regional dermatology meetings. She is also the Co-Founder of Sunblock Kids which helps to bring awareness about the importance of sun protection at an early age.Dr. Davis believes in a collaborative approach when it comes to helping her patients look and feel their best. Taking into account the aesthetic goals her patients want to achieve, Dr. Davis creates a comprehensive treatment D plan utilizing advanced technology through the viewpoint of an artist (as a classically trained ballet dancer).Dr. Davis is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons (ASDS), the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), and the Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS). Dr. Davis served as the resident liaison for ASDS, a member of the curriculum task force for the AAD, and has received scholarships for mentorship opportunities through the ASDS.She is the daughter of the late Fred Davis, Jr. and Sherill Davis and a proud native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her interests outside of medicine include yoga and dancing, and she was previously a NFL cheerleader for the New Orleans Saints football team. She enjoys international travel, trying new cuisines, and spending time with her family and friends.

    Heather Zwickey
    Heather Zwickey, PhD, earned a Ph.D. in Immunology and Microbiology from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Zwickey went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship and teach medical school at Yale University. At the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR, Dr. Zwickey is the founder the Helfgott Research Institute and established the School of Graduate Studies, developing programs in research, nutrition, and global health among others. She currently leads an NIH funded clinical research training program. She teaches at many universities and speaks at conferences world-wide. At Helfgott Research Institute, Dr. Zwickey applies her immunology expertise to natural medicine,with specific interest in the gut-brain axis in neuroinflammation.

    Dr. DeJarra K. Sims, known by her patients as Dr. DJ,  is a Naturopathic Doctor, published author, and prolific speaker. She received her Bachelor's in Biology from Prairie View A&M University, in Texas, and she completed her doctorate at Sonoran University of Health Sciences in Phoenix (formerly SCNM). She has served as an Assistant Professor and Core Faculty at Bastyr University California teaching Dermatology and Business Practices and as a former Adjunct Clinical Professor at Sonoran University. Dr. DJ established her virtual clinic Superhero SkinCare to remind women of their identity and bring out the adventurous, gorgeous superhero that exists within them. To do this, she provides personalized treatment plans to improve the skin, reset the liver, balance hormones, and support digestion.Dr. DJ is a well-known keynote speaker, who has given talks at medical conferences and even Comic-Con! Her training in improvisational comedy at The Finest City Improv in San Diego and The Second City in Hollywood has helped her create lively and energetic presentations that keep audiences engaged as they learn.

    Associate Professor Alison Coates is a Registered Nutritionist in the School of Health Sciences at the University of South Australia in Adelaide and President-Elect of the Nutrition Society of Australia. Her research focuses on dietary strategies to improve cardiovascular and metabolic health, weight and cognitive function with a specific focus on bioactive nutrients in foods and altered timing of eating. She is currently working on studies with nuts in children and adults focused on a wide range of health outcomes.

    Roberta R Holt is an Assistant Project Scientist in the Department of Nutrition. Her current research interests include defining the metabolic and physiologic effects of the intake of specific foods on cardiovascular health. This includes examining the relationship between circulating metabolites on vascular and platelet responses. Of interest, as a better definition of the mode of action of how specific phytochemicals and foods affect physiologic response, will lead towards the refinement of dietary recommendations for the general public regarding foods and dietary patterns that reduce chronic disease development. Dr. Holt has over 25 years of experience at the University of California, Davis in the fields of cardiovascular physiology and nutrition, where she received her Bachelors in Physiology and her doctorate in Nutritional Biology. She was a recipient of the UC Davis’ Max Kleiber Award for her dissertational work in the fields of physiology, biochemistry and nutrition, as well as a USDA AFRI NIFA Postdoctoral Fellowship recipient. Her current research projects include the effects of freeze dried strawberry powder intake on microvascular function and its relationship to changes in the microbiome and circulating metabolites; the effects of extra virgin olive oil-derived phenolics on platelet reactivity; and the effects of walnut derived fatty acid metabolites on microvascular function and platelet aggregation.

    Dr. Sarah de la Torre is a board certified OBGYN and women’s wellness expert who has been in conventional OBGYN for 20 years and has specialized training in Functional Medicine. She was a partner in a private group practice for over 15 years where she excelled at caring for women of all ages. She has delivered over 3000 babies and helped countless women have successful pregnancies and improved their gynecologic health. Dr. de la Torre is on the Clinical Teaching Faculty at the University of Washington School of Medicine and has spoken internationally and is a published author of clinical and research articles in women’s health. She is a certified NAMS provider and a Fellow of ACOG. Dr. de la Torre is also a Femtech entrepreneur and thought leader who consults for health-related start-ups and female health device companies. Her singular driving goal to help women obtain optimal wellness has moved her in several different professional directions.

    Glen Stein is a partner of Integrative Dermatology, the countrys largest independent dermatology practice. He is a founding partner and board member of Duvera Financial, a consumer finance company. Glen Stein began his career in New York City, first as a transactional lawyer at Pillsbury Winthrop, then as an investment banker in the securitization group of Prudential Securities. He is an expert at capital markets strategies. Previously served as Chief Financial Officer for First Capital, the largest independent asset-based lender and factoring company in the U.S., through its sale in 2015 to Ares Management, Sterling National Bank and Seacoast Bank. Earlier in his career Glen served in management positions in several commercial lending and technology businesses. He is an expert at specialty finance, including commercial, consumer and real estate lending.Glen Stein attended Amherst College and Columbia Law School. He is the Chair of Constituency Board for Florida Atlantic University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities. Glen is also a board Member for the Kelly/Strul Emerging Scholars Program at Florida Atlantic University and a member of the Young Presidents Organization.

    Dr. Patrick is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan, under the supervision of Dr Lam C. Tsoi. His research focuses on providing biological inference from high dimensional biological data for dermatological research. Among other projects, he has applied statistical and machine learning techniques to identify genetic and clinical markers, which distinguish Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) from Cutaneous Psoriasis (PsC) among psoriatic patients.

    Dr. Lyndsey Harper is an Associate Professor of Ob/Gyn for Texas A&M College of Medicine, a Fellow of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health. Dr. Harper completed Ob/Gyn residency in 2011 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, after which she was partner in a private practice until 2018. She now works as an ob/gyn hospitalist at Baylor. Additionally, Dr. Harper is the Founder and CEO of Rosy, an app and resource to connect women with decreased sexual desire with hope, community, and research-backed solutions.

    Dr. Rohit Kakar (@drrohitkakar) is a Board Certified, Fellowship-trained Cosmetic Dermatologist, Laser Surgeon, and Melanoma expert. He earned his Bachelor of Science with Distinction from the University of Michigan and his Medical Doctorate from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Kakar completed his dermatology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and completed a fellowship in Melanoma and Cutaneous Lymphoma at Georgetown University Washington Hospital Center. He completed an additional fellowship (accredited by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery) in Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery at Skin Care and Laser Physicians of Beverly Hills, with cosmetic dermatologists Dr. Derek H. Jones and Dr. Naissan Wesley, world-renowned for their pioneering work on injectable fillers, botulinum toxin, and laser medicine. Dr. Kakar has published numerous articles and contributed to multiple academic volumes, with a specific focus on cosmetic dermatology.
