She is also an Ambulatory Executive Medical Director for UCSF Health. She has served on the board of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and is a member of the North American Contact Dermatitis Group- a patch testing research consortium. Yuval BibiFacultyYuval Bibi, MD/PhD is a distinguished dermatologist of Israeli origin who currently resides in the United States. Valerie GershenhornFacultyValerie Gershenhorn, DO has always believed in the integrative approach to healing. Dr. Gershenhorn then went on to complete an internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York where she became chief resident. After staying on for a chief residency year, Dr. Gershenhorn earned board certification in internal medicine. Dr. Gershenhorn completed her dermatology residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital and earned board certification in dermatology. She has been practicing dermatology since 2006. Dr. Gershenhorn feels aligned with integrative dermatology because she believes that the skin is a “check engine light” for what is happening within the body.
