    Stephanie Wong is a medical student at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. She graduated from UCLA in 2014 with a degree in Psychobiology. Stephanie has a strong interest in how the skin is a useful tool in medicine that reflects a person’s overall health and believes there are many factors to consider when taking care of the skin. She recognizes the importance of educating others on how environmental factors, behavior, and supplements may affect the skin and further affect overall health. Stephanie has been involved over the past few years in working directly with the underserved communities in Southern California. She provides patient care and patient education in clinics, outreach, and health fairs. Stephanie’s goal as a future physician is to care for her patients and to teach them to care for themselves, especially in proactive ways to help prevent skin damage. By helping patients achieve the best skin health possible, it can greatly contribute to an overall healthy body.

She graduated from The University of Southern California undergraduate program in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and the master’s program in Global Medicine. Raised by a mother who trained in Ayurvedic Medicine, Chaitra believes that the future of medicine will benefit from an evidence-based integrative approach to inform patient care. Chaitra is excited about writing content that will inform both healthcare providers and patients about emerging topics and developments in the field of dermatology.     Anna Nichols, MD, PhD is Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology & Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Nichols’ clinical and research interests are focused on preventing nonmelanoma skin cancer, developing novel, cost-effective ways to treat tumors non-invasively, complicated medical dermatology and integrative dermatology. She spearheads a High-Risk Skin Cancer Clinic dedicated to serving patients at risk for multiple or aggressive nonmelanoma skin cancers, such as solid organ transplant recipients. She was recently awarded the 2018 Skin Cancer Foundation Research Grant to test the novel hypothesis that intratumoral delivery of the 9-valent human papillomavirus vaccine is an effective treatment strategy for cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. Additionally, Dr. Nichols is the Co-Director of the department’s Clinical Trials Unit where she oversees a team of research coordinators and fellows who support the department’s numerous research projects. She is currently involved in projects on skin cancer chemoprevention and treatment, inpatient and emergency department dermatology consults, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa and androgenetic alopecia. She is a member of the University of Miami’s Institutional Review Board.

    Trevor Erikson is a Registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the province of British Columbia, Canada, where he has been practicing for the past 14 years (2005). He has focused the majority of his post-graduate training on dermatology, allergy and inflammatory disease, which includes observing in the busy dermatology department in Hunan’s #1 TCM Hospital in Chengsha, China (2005), as well as completing Mazin Al-Khafaji’s prestigious Chinese medicine dermatology diploma program in London, England (2007). For more than a decade, Trevor has been using herbal medicines to help patients overcome a wide range of complicated skin diseases, allergic rhinitis and asthma, as well as other inflammatory disorders such as Colitis. Trevor currently practices out of his own private clinic in South Surrey, BC.

Alexander was born on a farm in the foothills of Appalachia, and from this early environment, he established strong roots tethering him to the natural world.     Dr. Sarah Wright received a Bachelor of Science in physiology from Seattle Pacific University and earned her doctorate of naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University California. She specializes in the holistic treatment of acne, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, staphylococcal skin infections, and urticaria at her practice. Dr. Wright has extensive training in biofeedback and values the importance of stress management practices and mindfulness as it relates to dermatologic conditions and overall wellness.     Dr. Julie Greenberg is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) and Registered Herbalist RH(AHG) who specializes in integrative dermatology. She is the founder of the Center for Integrative Dermatology, a holistic clinic that approaches skin and hair problems by finding and treating the root cause. Dr. Greenberg holds degrees from Northwestern University (BA), Stanford University (MBA) and Bastyr University (ND). Her research on the gut microbiome of acne patients has been published in a leading peer-reviewed clinical dermatology journal. While at naturopathic medical school, Dr. Greenberg received training with leading experts in dermatology at the University of Washington Medical School Dermatology Clinic and Seattle Children’s Hospital Pediatric Dermatology Clinic. She lectures at naturopathic medical schools and speaks at conferences across the U.S. on the topics of hair, skin and nails.

She is currently the Director of Clinical Research and Assistant Professor at the University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine), Department of Dermatology. Considered one of the foremost alopecia experts in the United States, Dr. Mesinkovska has grown the UC Irvine Dermatology Clinical Research Center into a world-class facility with multiple pharmaceutical sponsored studies and investigator-initiated projects focusing on elucidating the pathogenesis of alopecia, as well as developing and testing novel hair loss therapies.

    Joy Logothetis, PA, is a board-certified physician’s assistant in Chicago, Illinois. She has extensive dermatology training and unique experience as a subinvestigator for various clinical trials that further treatments for acne, actinic keratoses, and psoriasis.Joy earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Champaign, Illinois, before completing a master’s in medical science degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago in 2012.Since graduating, Joy has been practicing dermatology, seeing medical and cosmetic patients. She has also shared her knowledge as a preceptor for physician assistant students at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, training them in various dermatologic conditions.Joy has served as Secretary and board member for the Illinois Society of Physician Assistants and is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
